Theme: Undetectable + Unexpected + Unstoppable

The BeU Symposium, presented by the AIDS Education and Training Center (AETC) at the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNT HSC) and the Tarrant County HIV Administrative Agency (TC-HIVAA), invites innovative, impactful poster presentation submissions aligned with the conference themes. We are excited to feature three outstanding posters, each spotlighted during plenary and lunch sessions.
Poster presenters will receive an opportunity to showcase their work to healthcare professionals, community leaders, and people living with HIV, gaining visibility for creative solutions that advance HIV care, prevention, and community engagement.
Poster Themes
We are seeking posters that align with the following themes:
- Undetectable:
- Rapid Start
- Newly Diagnosed
- Linkage to Care
- Unexpected:
- Community Innovations
- Re-engagement in Care
- Retention in Care
- Unstoppable:
- Prevention
- Planning
- Education
Submission Guidelines
- Posters should reflect new research, community initiatives, or innovative practices that align with the conference themes.
- Submissions are open to practitioners, researchers, community-based organizations, Ryan White and EHE service providers, University faculty and students engaged in advancing the health and well-being of communities impacted by HIV.
- Poster will be limited to one PowerPoint slide (template will be uploaded shortly).
- Each selected presenter will have 7 minutes to present their poster.
Important Dates
- Submission Deadline: January 15, 2025
- Notification of Acceptance: January 30, 2025
How to Submit
Please submit your poster abstract (maximum 250 words) to Beathivtc.org/BeU-symposium-poster-submission
Make sure to indicate the theme your submission aligns with.
Selection Process
We will select one poster from each theme to be featured during the event:
- Opening Plenary: One poster from the Undetectable theme
- Lunch Session: One poster from the Unexpected theme
- Closing Plenary: One poster from the Unstoppable theme
