    The BeU Symposium is an engaging and educational event that brings together professionals, community leaders, people living with HIV, and care coordinators to discuss innovative approaches to HIV care, prevention, and community engagement.
  2. When and where will the symposium take place?
    The symposium will be held on Friday, February 13, 2025, at the University of North Texas Health Science Center Medical Education Training Building (MET), 1000 Montgomery Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76107
  3. What are the symposium themes?
    The symposium themes are:

    • Undetectable: Rapid Start, Newly Diagnosed, Linkage to Care
    • Unexpected: Community Innovations, Re-engagement in Care, Retention in Care
    • Unstoppable: Prevention, Planning, Education

Registration

  1. How do I register for the symposium?
    You can register online by clicking the “Register Now” button on the homepage.
  2. Is there a registration fee?
    No, the symposium is free to attend, but registration is required to secure your spot.
  3. What is the deadline to register?
    The registration deadline is January 27, 2025, or until all spots are filled.

Poster Presentations

  1. How can I submit a poster presentation?
    To submit a poster, email your abstract (maximum 250 words) to [email protected] by January 15, 2025. Be sure to specify which theme your poster aligns with.
  2. What are the selection criteria for posters?
    Posters will be evaluated based on their relevance to the themes, innovation, clarity, visual appeal, and evidence-based approach.
  3. What is the presentation format for selected posters?
    Each selected poster will be presented during one of the large group session, with 7 minutes for presentationand 3 minutes for Q&A.

Event Logistics

  1. Is parking available at the venue?
    Yes, parking is available at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. Detailed parking instructions will be sent to registered attendees closer to the event date.
  2. Will food be provided?
    Yes, a continental breakfast, lunch, and refreshments during breaks will be provided.
  3. What is the dress code?
    Business casual attire is recommended.
